8. The following social plug-ins are used on our website

Our website uses social plug-ins of various social networks. A social plug-in is a button that can be used to share and communicate posts on our website with other users of the respective social network.

The following social plug-ins are used on our website:

Facebook: Facebook: This plug-in is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The operator of the German website is Facebook Ireland Limited, Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland. These plug-ins are identified by the Facebook logo. You can find Facebook’s Data Protection Notice here.

The networks provide the design and the content of the plug-ins to the browser. These are automatically integrated into websites.

If you visit one of our websites with one of these plug-ins, Internet Explorer will automatically establish a link to the server on the appropriate network, regardless of whether you use the plug-in. The information that you have accessed on the website is shared via this link.

For data protection reasons, the respective buttons are initially deactivated, and a notice is affixed to them. By clicking the notice, you give your consent to communication with the social networks and activate the buttons. It is only then that they establish a link to the networks.

If you are logged into a social network while visiting our website, the data transmitted will be associated with your user account. This also applies if you interact with a plug-in. If you wish to prevent a network from linking information with your user account in this manner, please log out from the respective network before clicking the notice.

Even if you are not a member of a social network, your data may be stored by social networks after you click the notice.
